The accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 in the various countries ensures that all calibration and testing activities performed by NorthLab meet National and International standards. The endorsement of the national accreditation bodies are manifested as accreditation logos on the calibration certificates and test reports issued by NorthLab.

The International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation or ‘ILAC’ is an international cooperation that facilitates international trade by promoting the international acceptance of endorsed test and calibration reports from accredited laboratories. ILAC’s Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) is an international arrangement between 72 National Accreditation bodies of various countries. The use of the ILAC MRA mark on NorthLab calibration and test reports therefore guarantee that these reports are internationally accepted.

The headquarters of NorthLab group in Singapore has achieved the distinction of being the first third party calibration laboratory in the world to achieve API certification. With over 400 corporate members representing all segments of the industry, the American Petroleum Institute (API) is the only national trade organization that represents the oil & natural gas industry to the various government agencies and the general public. API certifies organizations that meet their demanding standards as ISO 9001 compliant. In addition to this API also certifies the organizations as meeting their own standard (API Spec Q1 / ISO TS 29001) which incorporates additional criteria specifically tailored for the oil & natural gas industry. NorthLab Pte Ltd & NorthLab SEAMS Pte Ltd in Singapore have been certified by API as having met the high standards of ISO 9001, API Spec Q1 and ISO TS 29001.

In addition to this, NorthLab Pte Ltd and NorthLab SEAMS Pte Ltd have also been certified by the United States Navy as having met their rigorous standards for the provision of services to US Navy vessels.
